The statistics generation code relies on certain fields being remove from the original search because sometimes the criteria conflicts with the statistics measure that is being calculated. For example, sold statistics will not be computed correctly if the query used to generate the listing set includes "Status = Active". Therefore, Matrix actively blocks certain fields for statistics, the most common include:
- Status - status is usually defined by the measure itself (eg. Active Inventory, Average Sold Price, etc..)
- Listing IDs - Statistics is designed to compute statistics based on specific criteria, not on particular listings
- List Date, Sold Date, etc.. - dates are usually defined by the timeframe that is selected through the statistics module
